In that environment, many investors are leaning more heavily on advisors who emphasize planning, discipline and long-term risk management over short-term market timing. At the same time, the wealth management industry continues to strive for diversity, especially in gender representation, driven by evolving client expectations and a stronger push to recruit and retain women across advisory roles.
The tenth annual ranking of Forbes | SHOOK Best-In-State Women Wealth Advisors highlights more than 2,800 women across the country with proven track records, collectively managing nearly $4 trillion in assets. Forbes’ rankings were compiled by SHOOK Research, which uses a rigorous methodology combining quantitative and qualitative data, including interviews with candidates nominated by their firms.
This year, Nancy Carlson of Prime Capital Financial in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was named #6 on this years list.
