Sean didn’t set out to become a financial advisor. He got into this work for a simple reason: he wanted to understand how wealth is actually built. Growing up, he noticed that most people seemed stressed about money while a select few appeared to have everything under control. He became curious about the difference and started learning about investing, the markets, and financial planning.

That curiosity led him to the University of South Carolina, fulfilling a longtime goal of attending a strong business school that also happened to care deeply about college football. In fairness, 18-year-old Sean was probably just as motivated by seeing SEC football in person. While he enjoyed his time there, he eventually realized that a finance student taking on significant student loan debt might not be practicing what he planned to preach. He transferred home and completed his degree at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.

Before joining Prime Capital, Sean spent nearly three years at Fidelity Investments, helping clients navigate important financial decisions and developing the practical experience that shapes his approach today.

Outside the office, Sean is a loyal Boston sports fan, particularly when it comes to the New England Patriots. While he loves Charleston and everything the Lowcountry has to offer, he occasionally misses being home for a big playoff run. Then again, year-round golf and mild winters make that tradeoff a little easier to accept.

Today, Sean works primarily with high-earning professionals and families facing complex financial decisions. Many are equity-compensated employees trying to determine whether they are overly concentrated in company stock, frustrated by how much of their income goes to taxes, or parents who want to set their children up for success without postponing their own lives in the process. He also works with medical professionals who want greater clarity and confidence around their financial future.

His philosophy is straightforward: life is not meant to be enjoyed only after age 60. Good financial planning should help you live well now and later—not force you to choose between the two. Sean focuses on providing clear, practical guidance without unnecessary jargon or pressure, helping clients mitigate risk.

Sean supports his clients with his calm demeaner, responsiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile to help them feel confident about where they are headed. He is proud to have found a career that aligns with both his skills and interests, and one he plans to enjoy for a long time.
