Nicholas Stonnington is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) who serves as a financial advisor on the wealth management team at Prime Capital Financial of Los Angeles. He specializes in helping clients model and achieve their financial goals and investment objectives, while also focusing on client development and expanding the depth and breadth of services offered by the firm.
Prior to joining Prime Capital Financial, Nicholas gained foundational experience in wealth management at Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch. He also worked as a technology consultant in data management and network security for Oracle Corporation, and has been actively involved with start-ups. Nicholas is a member of the Advisory Council of Entrepreneurship at Cornell University.
Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is conversationally fluent in Russian, a skill he developed through his studies at UC Berkeley, time abroad at Saint Petersburg State University (Санкт-Петербургский Государственный Университет), professional experience coordinating with Russian nationals in web and application development, and through practicing with Russian-speaking friends. Nicholas earned his Master of Business Administration at Cornell University, with a concentration in Investment Research & Asset Management. He studied abroad at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (香港科技大學) during his time at Cornell University.
An Eagle Scout, Nicholas is committed to community service and currently serves on the board of directors of the Boy Scouts of America Greater Los Angeles Area Council.
