Dillon Wilhite
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Dillon Wilhite joined Prime Capital Financial as a Financial Advisor in San Diego, where he works alongside an experienced team of advisors to help individuals and families build, manage, and protect their wealth through every stage of life.
Dillon began his career with Prime Capital Financial as a summer intern in the San Diego office during 2025. That experience reinforced his interest in financial planning and confirmed his alignment with the firm’s collaborative, client-first culture. Following his internship, Dillon joined the firm full-time in January 2026.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Kansas. While at Kansas, he was a member of the Men’s Basketball program and part of the 2022 Kansas Jayhawks National Championship team. His background as a collegiate athlete shaped a disciplined, team-oriented approach and emphasized preparation, accountability, and long-term goal setting.
As part of the Prime Capital team, Dillon helps clients get organized financially, build comprehensive plans, and make confident decisions around their investments and long-term financial goals. His approach is relationship-driven and focused on creating clarity, simplifying complex financial topics, and providing consistent guidance through life’s transitions. He works closely with other advisors to provide clients with thoughtful and well-rounded support.
Originally from Rancho Santa Fe, California, Dillon comes from a large sports-oriented family that values discipline, leadership, and teamwork. He attended Cathedral Catholic High School and was raised by his parents, Brad and Carrie Wilhite. Dillon has two older sisters, Brennan and Peyton, who both competed as collegiate volleyball players at Georgetown University.
Outside of the office, Dillon enjoys golfing, surfing, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
