Mark Hays

Mark Hays is President of Prime Capital Endowments & Foundations, where he leads the firm’s national Endowments & Foundations practice. Mark and his team partner with nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and philanthropic families to align capital, mission, and governance through institutional investment management, OCIO services, mission-aligned investing, and philanthropic advisory.

Mark brings nearly two decades of institutional investment and leadership experience serving endowments, foundations, family offices, and other institutional clients. Prior to joining Prime Capital, he held senior investment leadership roles at Glenmede, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Cambridge Associates, where he led the growth and expansion of investment platforms while advising boards, investment committees, and executive leadership teams on portfolio strategy, governance, sustainable investing, and mission-alignment.

Mark earned his M.B.A. from London Business School, his B.S. from Wake Forest University, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School. He serves on the Leadership Committee of CFA Society Philadelphia and is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Believe in Students, a national education-focused nonprofit.

Mark lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, traveling with his family, and has recently rediscovered his love of drumming after a long hiatus from his days as a high school rock band drummer.
