Family is the cornerstone of everything I do. My wife and our two children and I spend our days biking, rafting, and building a life together at our mountain home overlooking the French Broad River Valley south of Asheville. That home, and the people in it, are the reason my work matters.

I grew up in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, working on farms and in the boat shop at a local outfitter, and playing soccer at the Olympic Development level. That path led to a scholarship at Montreat College, and from there, into the Pisgah National Forest, where the wilderness taught me to read risk, listen carefully, and stay composed under pressure. College athletes know pressure too, and how to perform through adversity, so between the mountains and the game, those lessons came early and stuck.

Early in my career, I led expeditions across remote terrain, guiding rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, and backcountry backpacking trips. Those experiences forged the instincts I still bring to every client relationship today: assess the landscape, identify what is at stake, and build a plan that holds when conditions change.

That foundation carried me through more than a decade in corporate account management, where I learned to leverage data, analyze complex systems, and drive meaningful outcomes for the people I served. That work deepened my interest in financial services and eventually led me to pursue a Master's in Financial Technology and Analytics at Wake Forest University, and to earn my CEPA designation along the way.

Today I work with individuals, families, and business owners across Western North Carolina through Earth Equity Advisors. My focus is straightforward: help people protect what they have worked hard to build, plan thoughtfully for what comes next, and leave something worth passing on.

I have called Western North Carolina home for over 25 years now, and I'm proud to serve our community through volunteerism at church, school, and youth sports.
