Kameron J. Carlson, CFP®, MBA, is a seasoned financial planner and former owner of Professional Financial Services, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in investment advice, retirement planning, business retirement plans, insurance planning, and estate planning. Kameron earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1998 and holds a Series 65 license as an Investment Advisor Representative. He also became an independent insurance broker in 1992.
His academic background includes an MBA from the University of North Dakota in 1987 and a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Mayville State University in 1983. Beyond financial planning, Kameron has diverse professional experience, including roles as a college professor teaching subjects like finance, marketing, and investment analysis, as well as positions as a commercial real estate credit analyst, computer software store manager, and commodity marketing specialist. He is also an inventor, holding a U.S. patent.
